Windows 7: Manipulate the Window Size

This is a cool trick. Want to have two windows open side by side or top and bottom filling up your screen? I used to do the right-click on the task bar at the bottom and select "show windows stacked" or "show windows side by side". The problem was that it didn't work well if you have more than the two windows open and you only wanted to work with two of them. But this trick really helps. Windows 7 allows you to “dock” a window or manipulate its size with the mouse maneuver or a simple keystroke. To dock your window on one half of the screen, click and hold the top of the window (see picture), and drag it to the left or right. It will change its size to fit that half of the screen. To manipulate the vertical size of a window, drag the window to the top to maximize it, or double-click the window’s top or bottom border to maximize it vertically while keeping the same width. Awesome, isn't it?

You can also perform all of these functions with keystrokes:

-Start Key+Left Arrow and Start Key+Right Arrow dock to half the screen

-Start Key+Up Arrow and Start Key+ Down Arrow maximize and minimize

-Start Key+Shift+Up Arrow and +Shift+Down Arrow maximize and restore vertical size. ☺

Google has released clear information on how to perform better in search engines. Provide useful, legitimate content! This update is called the " Helpful Content Update " and it is clear that original, informative information is king. A new sitewide ranking system is being added which awards people with good quality content. Now, this isn't really new, but it clarifies that your ranking can be impacted and if you are a subject matter expert in your field or business, make it shine! Utilize your website as informational, not just a short brochure or a business card. Show your knowledge and experience and make it work for your organically.
